Lasagne alla Bolognese
The Bolognese original: a ragù simmered for two and a half hours until the meat is silky, layered thinly with béchamel and Parmigiano between sheets of egg pasta. Time is the only difficult ingredient.
Fruit Salad
Orange, apple, banana, kiwi and grapes with a spoon of honey and lemon. Fifteen minutes, no cooking, and the order you cut things in matters more than the recipe.
